On November 20, HYUNDAI TRANSYS, a leading future mobility company, announced that it had been selected for the third year in a row as an “Excellent Company in Quality Competitiveness” at the 51st National Quality Management Convention held on November 19 at COEX Auditorium in Seoul.

Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards, and organized by the Korean Standards Association, the National Quality Management Convention is the nation’s most prestigious quality management event. It recognizes companies and individuals that have contributed to enhancing industrial competitiveness through quality innovation activities.

HYUNDAI TRANSYS has promoted systematic quality innovation across all phases—from product development and production to after-sales service.

Key initiatives include building a global quality system, supporting partner companies in strengthening their quality competitiveness, enhancing quality independence at overseas plants, and reducing quality-related costs. These efforts have led to higher customer satisfaction, improved productivity, and strengthened quality competitiveness.

This award acknowledges not only the company’s achievements in quality management but also the dedication and expertise of its employees who made those results possible.

Notably, Lee Hyang , Head of the Quality Division at HYUNDAI TRANSYS, received the Presidential Citation at the National Quality Innovation Awards (Quality Competitiveness Category) for establishing a field-focused and preventive quality management system.

Lee was highly recognized for his leadership in fostering mutual quality innovation with partners and for instilling a proactive quality culture that prevents quality issues before they arise.

In addition, Park Kyung-chul , Manager of Production Team 3, won the Silver Award in the Quality Circle Proposal Case category.

Park’s proposed improvement activities simultaneously enhanced production efficiency and quality stability, resulting in approximately KRW 300 million in annual cost savings—earning recognition as an exemplary case of on-site quality innovation.
