Dispute Mediation

In the event that any disputes arise during the transaction process with HYUNDAI TRANSYS, please feel free to apply for dispute mediation at any time.
We will do our best to resolve the issue quickly and accurately through the Dispute Mediation Committee, in accordance with our procedures.

Types of Dispute Mediation and Procedures

  • Disputes related to non-payment of subcontracting payments
  • Disputes related to unfair deductions
  • Disputes related to non-payment of bill discount fees / late interest
  • Other disputes arising during subcontracting transactions

The company may present a revised mediation proposal in accordance with Article 15 of the [Regulations on Subcontract Dispute Mediation], and the procedure will be the same as the resolution procedure for presenting a mediation proposal.

Guidelines for the Dispute Mediation Process by Stage

  1. 01

    Submission of application

    Dispute mediation should, in principle, be submitted through the "Dispute Mediation" on the company website. However, if there are limitations in using the website’s dispute mediation board, submissions can be made via mail.

  2. 02

    Notification of receipt to the supplier & the department involved in the dispute

    After the submission is received, the investigation department(personnel) will notify the supplier and the department involved in the dispute about the receipt of the submission and request the relevant materials. (However, if the matter does not fall under the scope of mediation during the process, the mediation procedure may be terminated.)

    Submission of documents

    Both parties must submit the relevant materials related to the dispute within the requested deadline. If there is a failure to comply with the request for materials more than twice, the mediation process may be suspended.

  4. 04

    Fact-finding

    After thoroughly reviewing the materials submitted by both parties, the formal mediation process will proceed. If necessary, the parties may be required to attend. During the mediation process, the mediation may be concluded if both parties reach an agreement directly. If there is a failure to comply with the attendance request more than 3 times, the mediation process may be suspended.

  5. 05

    Holding and resolution of the Dispute Mediation Committee

    After confirming the facts, the case referred to the Dispute Mediation Committee will go through a deliberation process with the participation of the dispute mediators. During this process, the parties involved in the dispute may participate and present their opinions if necessary. The Dispute Mediation Committee will be concluded through a resolution to present a mediation proposal or a resolution to terminate the mediation process. The results of the deliberation by the Dispute Mediation Committee will be communicated to the parties through systems or other means.

Consent to collect and use personal information (required)

  • Personal information collected: Name, email address, contact information (phone number)
  • Purpose of collection and use: Handling of dispute mediation complaints and communication of results
  • Retention and use period : The personal information will be destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved.
    However, if there is an obligation to retain the information according to relevant laws, it will be stored for the period specified by the law.
