HYUNDAI TRANSYS Selected as the Best Company for 9 Consecutive Years in Shared Growth

- The first company in the automotive parts industry to receive the highest rating for 9 consecutive years as a “Best Honourable Company”
- Leading win-win cooperation through the partner-customized shared growth activity program “PARTNer”

HYUNDAI TRANSYS has received the highest rating for 9 consecutive years in the “2022 Shared Growth Index Evaluation” announced by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership.

This evaluation assesses the level of shared growth of large companies each year to promote cooperation between large and small enterprises, quantifying it using various indicators and categorizing them into five grades: Excellent, Good, Fair, Average, and Poor.

Companies that receive the highest grade for three or more consecutive years are designated as “Best Honourable Company.” HYUNDAI TRANSYS continues to hold this prestigious status.

HYUNDAI TRANSYS operates the partner-customized shared growth activity program called “PARTNer,” which supports partner companies based on five key tasks: ▲ Corporate development support (Progress) ▲ Corporate survival support (Assistance) ▲ Capacity enhancement support (Reinforcement) ▲ Technology support (Technology) and ▲ Communication channel establishment (Network).

As part of the business development support program, we assist partners in expanding their overseas markets and entering new markets. We support participating in domestic and international automotive parts exhibitions to help matching and substantive purchasing consultations between partners and buyers. In 2022, we supported over 40 partners, contributing to revenue expansion.

HYUNDAI TRANSYS has deposited a total of KRW 40 billion in financial institutions to support partners further, establishing the “Shared Growth Fund” to provide interest rate reductions on partners’ loans. The total support provided from 2013 to 2022 reached approximately KRW 180 billion. We also implemented a cash payment policy for small partners with annual sales below KRW 100 billion to stabilize their operations.

HYUNDAI TRANSYS places an emphasis on enhancing the capabilities of partners. We offer education and consulting in technology, quality, accounting, and legal matters, using internal and external specialized educational institutions and experts while also providing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) education and consulting to promote sustainable management among partners. In 2022, more than 1,500 employees from our partners completed the education programs.

To improve partners’ quality and productivity, HYUNDAI TRANSYS supports the construction of partners’ smart factories in collaboration with government projects. We are currently supporting the establishment of smart tool counters, deep learning vision systems, machine learning artificial intelligence (AI) systems, and other technologies in 28 partners to strengthen their manufacturing process management. Partners can also access HYUNDAI TRANSYS’ unused patents at no cost to boost their technological capabilities.

We continuously introduce new programs and incorporate improvement suggestions through ongoing communication with partners. A notable initiative is the “Visiting Service,” where top executives, including the CEO, visit around 250 partners annually to listen to their opinions and provide feedback.

The CEO of HYUNDAI TRANSYS, Yeo Su-Dong, said, “We are at the forefront of shared growth with partners to build a sustainable future mobility ecosystem. We promise to expand partner support programs that realize the value of co-prosperity and lead ESG management in the automotive parts industry.”
