Ultra-efficient motor

Motor power density has improved with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) type for enhanced installation compatibility. Motor coils with the application of coil winding technology at 90 degrees and the latest bobbin design technology are also applied for better coil space factor.
Improved motor cooling performance with ATF cooling for the high-efficient and functioning motor

The 8-speed hybrid AT is the common 8-speed AT with ultra-efficient motor and engine clutch. Torque converters in the common 8-speed AT are replaced with hybrid engine clutch and torsion damper. It brings better fuel efficiency and speed change quality and presents a smooth start and less impact from shifting gears. It improves fuel efficiency by actively engaging EV and HEV modes through the motor.

Engine clutch (wet)

It turns on when switching EVhybrid mode and connects or disconnects the driving force between engine and transmission.

With attachable TCU implementation, improved TCU loading space and increased satisfaction in safer functions (ISO26262) and cyber security requirements
